SPD is best police district, Muntinlupa bags best city police station award at PNP Day 2026

The Southern Police District was awarded Best Police District in the National Capital Region during the PNP Day 2026 on Feb. 12. 

The ceremony was held at the Hinirang Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City. 

SPD's award recognized its performance in crime prevention, operations, community engagement, and administrative management.

The award was conferred under the leadership of Major Gen. Anthony Aberin, National Capital Region Police Office regional director. 

The SPD said the district, under Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, district director, sustained focused operations and reinforced internal management systems, resulting in consistent district-wide performance. 

In addition, SPD units were also recognized. The Muntinlupa City Police Station was named Best City Police Station while the Pateros Municipal Police Station was recognized as Best Municipal Police Station

SPD's District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) was named Best District Mobile Force Battalion for its operational readiness and specialized policing. 

At the individual level, Jenny Rose Caole was honored as Best Non-Uniformed Personnel Non-Supervisory Level for her dedication and professionalism.

Arceo said the awards reflect the discipline, accountability, and teamwork of all SPD personnel, and reaffirmed the district’s commitment to enforce the law effectively while strengthening public safety and community trust.
