Road closed in Dagupan City for De Venecia wake

DAGUPAN CITY – The city government will temporarily close a road on Saturday morning, Feb. 14, for the arrival of the hearse of former House Speaker Jose De Venecia Jr. for a wake at the Simbahan na Bato, Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Bonuan Gueset here.
The road from Caranglaan to Mayombo will be closed from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. to ensure a dignified and orderly arrival ceremony and will immediately reopen once the activity concludes.
This is part of the city’s final tribute to the late five-time Speaker of the House.
Motorists were advised to take alternate routes and expect possible traffic adjustments during the event.
