NBI 'agents' rob guests of Calamba City resort

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – Twelve individuals posing as National Bureau of Investigation agents robbed guests of a resort in Barangay Sucol, this city, after midnight Thursday.
Police said 20 people were having a drinking session when the heavily armed suspects appeared.
The suspects herded the victims to a room on the ground floor and entered the caretaker's room. The caretaker was brought to the victims’ room.
Two suspects allegedly punched and slapped two victims and accused them of being scammers.
The suspects ransacked all the rooms of the resort and the victims and fled.
Value of the stolen items is yet to be determined.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
