Around 200 families displaced by a fire along C4 in Barangay Tañong on Wednesday, Feb. 11, received immediate assistance from the Malabon City government.
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval personally visited the affected residents, together with personnel from the City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD), City Health Office (CHO), and the Malabon Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).
According to the city’s Public Information Office, modular tents were set up at the Barangay Tañong covered court to serve as temporary shelter for the displaced families.
