2 minor female students involved in viral mauling incident in Tondo

The Manila Police District–Jose Abad Santos Police Station (PS-7) is investigating a viral video showing a mauling incident involving two minor female students in Tondo.
The incident occurred at around 7 p.m. on Feb. 11, in front of F.G. Calderon Integrated School along Hermosa corner Limay Street, Barangay 201.
Initial investigation revealed that the two students, believed to be enrolled at F.G. Calderon Integrated School, were seen in the video engaged in a physical altercation, including hair-pulling, which caused a commotion along the street.
A barangay tanod identified as Mark Francis David, who was wearing a red chaleco uniform, was also seen in the video responding to the scene and pacifying the students.
According to Guidance Counselor Winnie Irish T. Sanqui, the students possibly involved are in Grades 8 and 9.
Their identities are being withheld as they are minors.
Operatives of PS-7 conducted a follow-up investigation and coordinated with school officials and barangay authorities to provide appropriate police assistance.
Police said further investigation is ongoing, and a written report will follow.
