Love and luck by the bay at Conrad Manila

From Lunar New Year feasts to Valentine's dinners, the hotel layers romance and tradition across its dining venues

Conrad Manila is marking February with a dual celebration: the season of love and the arrival of the Year of the Horse. Across its restaurants and lounges, the hotel presents a series of curated dining experiences that move from Chinese New Year reunion feasts to candlelit Valentine’s dinners overlooking Manila Bay.

A Lunar New Year reunion at China Blue
At China Blue by Jereme Leung, the hotel’s Michelin-selected Chinese restaurant, Lunar New Year is observed with Flavors & Fortune, a series of set menus available from Feb. 11 to March 3, 2026. Curated by celebrity chef Jereme Leung and Executive Chinese Chef Eng Yew Khor, the menus are designed for sharing and symbolic abundance.
The Prosperity Set, priced at P49,888 nett for 10 persons, begins with a choice of Chinese New Year raw salmon with organic quinoa and fresh suahe in pineapple passion fruit sweet and sour sauce, or a hot and cold combination platter featuring deep-fried lobster with fruit salad and cuttlefish paste stuffing with crab claw almond flake.
Soup follows: braised dry scallop fish lip and seafood with assorted mushroom sea moss. The main courses include barbecue roasted duck with mandarin orange sauce; wok-fried king prawn with butter black pepper gravy sauce; deep-fried cod fish fillet and crispy pork with fragrant taro garlic sauce; sautéed US prime beef and beef tendon with pickled olive, ginger and garlic sauce; braised 10-head abalone, sea cucumber and dry oyster money bag crab roe sauce; and salted fish fried rice with honey barbecue pork and liver sausage. Dessert concludes with chilled mandarin orange jelly and honey pearl with citrus sorbet, alongside traditional coconut brown sugar nian gao shaped like mandarin oranges.
The Abundance Set, priced at P69,888 nett for 10 persons, elevates the selection with roasted pigeon flavored with Chinese herbs; steamed live sea garoupa with fragrant bell pepper pickled olive sauce; sautéed scallop and sea cucumber in signature XO sauce with soft shell crab; baked US beef short rib with honey sweet vinegar sauce; braised abalone and fish maw with dry oyster money bag in black garlic oyster sauce; and wok-fried udon noodle and fresh bean curd sheet with Chinese sausage and crispy dough wild pepper sauce.
A Prosperity Yee Sang, available from Feb. 15 to 17 at P3,588++, offers a ceremonial centerpiece of raw salmon, crab claw and colorful vegetables tossed high for good fortune. For gifting, the Treasures of Abundance nian gao set, available until Feb. 17 at P2,588 nett, features almond and coconut brown sugar fish-shaped cakes and mango ingots in packaging inspired by the Year of the Horse.
Days later, the tone shifts to romance
At Brasserie on 3, the All-in For Love dinner buffet runs from Feb. 13 to 15, priced at P5,588 nett per person for veranda seating and P4,588 nett indoors. The spread includes prime rib, crusted baked salmon fillet, seafood selections, salads and Valentine’s-themed cakes and desserts. Unlimited house beverages for two hours and live romantic performances complete the evening. A lunch buffet is available Feb. 14 and 15 at P3,188 nett per person.
Back at China Blue, couples may opt for For the King & Queen of Hearts, a regal set menu offered Feb. 14 and 15 at P4,998++ per person. The menu features pan-fried US beef tenderloin with dry orange peel gravy and okra; braised abalone and seared scallop with bell pepper sauce and dry scallop rice; wok-fried lobster with butter torch ginger and flower gravy sauce; and slow-boiled roasted duck golden broth with stuffed morel mushroom.
For an alfresco alternative, C Lounge presents The Perfect Pair, a curated set menu available Feb. 13 to 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., priced at P10,000 nett for two persons. The experience includes artisanal breads such as mini sourdough boules and petit baguette epi; a main course of leek-ash beef tenderloin with green pea risotto ball, glazed carrots, edamame and port wine jus; and pistachio creameaux with mango compote, mascarpone and feuilletine for dessert. A bottle of sparkling wine, bouquet of flowers, live music and the hotel’s signature Carey plush toy complete the package.
At Bru Coffee Bar, Valentine’s-themed cakes and pastries are available from Feb. 2 to 15, with prices starting at P150 nett. The café also offers Lunar New Year-inspired confections from Feb. 2 to 17, with selections beginning at P300 nett.
To usher in the Year of the Horse, Conrad Manila will host a lion dance presentation and eye-dotting ceremony on Feb. 17 at 10:55 a.m. at the porte cochere.
