Cops arrest man for throwing molotov bomb at a house in Manila
A 20-year-old man was arrested by the Manila Police District (MPD) for throwing a homemade molotov cocktail at a house in San Andres Bukid, Manila, on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
The police identified the suspect as Rodel Tiglao, a resident of Barangay 775.
Based on the police report, Rodel was initially seen by his neighbors carrying a molotov cocktail which he threw at a house on Radium Street in Barangay 771 before escaping.
Residents who saw the fire immediately extinguished the blaze. The incident did not result in any injuries.
They subsequently reported the crime to the authorities which led to the suspect's arrest at his home.
Arresting police brought the suspect to the Bureau of Fire Protection Manila (BFP Manila) Investigation Section for inquest, particularly on how he created the molotov cocktail.
Tiglao will be charged with arson before the Manila City Prosecutor’s Office.
