Another vintage bomb was found in front of the Institute of Chemistry Teaching Building, University of the Philippines Diliman, on Tuesday morning, Feb. 10.
According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), a construction worker found the bomb at around 8:30 a.m. while conducting building works in the area.
Quezon City Police District Explosive Ordinance Division (QCPD-EOD) personnel safely retrieved the found bomb for custody and proper disposition.
Morning classes were suspended, while afternoon classes will proceed.
The road between the IC Teaching Building and the Research Building has also been closed off to ensure public safety.
As of this posting, authorities have yet to release further details.
On Feb. 3, vintage bomb was unearthed by construction workers digging near the building.
