On Feb. 4, 2026, Casa Buenas in Pasay City was transformed into a train departure hall to capture the charm and wonder of storytelling and travel, to celebrate the arrival of Montblanc’s “The Journey: Let’s Write” campaign. The event gathered esteemed clients and friends of the brand for an afternoon of writing, wanderlust, and whimsy.

Throughout the space, dedicated writing areas let guests experience the joy of writing with Montblanc fountain pens. These pens became tools for immortalizing moments, as guests used them to write on postcards to be delivered a year later to themselves or their loved ones. A departure board also stood at the entrance in homage to key cities such as Hamburg, Florence, Chamonix, and Villeret, which helped shape the brand’s legacy.
Rustan’s head of Marketing Jackie Avecilla, Montblanc Philippines senior brand manager Valerie Roque, Montblanc Southeast Asia’s assistant marketing manager Juliana Tan, area sales manager Maika Bergamo, regional marketing director Pearlyn Lim, marketing and communications manager Samantha Tham, marketing executive Tun Hui Wong, and Rustan’s Men’s and Fine Jewelry division manager Lana Vistan
The pièce de résistance was the “Montblanc Voyage of Panorama,” a staged train car inspired by the short film “Let’s Write,” directed by Wes Anderson for the brand. It showcased pieces from Montblanc’s fall-winter 2025 collection, including the Writing Traveller Document Case and the Iced Sea Automatic Date 0 Oxygen, as well as limited-edition writing instruments from its “Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir,” “Writers Edition Homage to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe,” and “Great Characters Homage to Queen” collections, among others.
Leading the Philippine stop of the campaign were Jean-Sébastien Gerondeau, president of Montblanc South Asia, and Michael Huang, senior vice president for Store Development and Expansion at Rustan’s. The gentlemen also led the viewing of Wes’ featurette, allowing the audience to experience the world of Montblanc through a lens of creativity and a dose of humor.
“Today we celebrate the launch of ‘The Journey: Let’s Write,’ directed by and starring Wes Anderson. Through this collaboration, we celebrate the joy of writing, craftsmanship, and imagination—values that are at the core of Montblanc,” Jean-Sébastien said. “We are reinforcing the belief that writing has the power to become a transformative journey.”
