Pasay cops nab Sorsogon's No. 1 most wanted

A construction worker tagged as the No. 1 Most Wanted Person in the provincial level in Sorsogon was arrested in Pasay City for five counts of sexual assault and four counts of rape.

Pasay City Police Chief Col. Joselito De Sesto identified the suspect as Ronald, 43, who was apprehended at his residence in Barangay 73, Pasay City.

De Sesto said the arrest was carried out through inter-regional cooperation involving the Sorsogon Provincial Police Office, the Pilar Municipal Police Station, and the Pasay City Police MOA Substation to serve multiple arrest warrants.

The warrants were issued by Judge Zach Zaragoza Ziga of the Sorsogon Regional Trial Court, Branch 12, for five counts of sexual assault and four counts of rape, all classified as heinous crimes.

The court recommended a bail of P200,000 for each count of sexual assault, while no bail was recommended for the rape charges.
