Meralco to implement power service interruption on Feb. 12–13

The Parañaque City government advised residents of Barangay San Martin de Porres of a scheduled power service interruption to be implemented by the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) from Feb. 12 to 13.

According to Meralco’s advisory posted on the official Facebook page of the Parañaque Public Information Office, the power interruption will take place from 11:00 p.m. on Feb. 12 until 4:00 a.m. on Feb. 13.

Meralco said the outage is due to pole replacement and line construction works along Raja Sumakwel Street in Barangay Upper Bicutan, Taguig City.

Affected areas in Taguig City include portions of Raja Sumakwel Street from A. Bonifacio Avenue up to and including Purok 1, 2, and 3, as well as Sitio Sampalocan in Barangay Upper Bicutan.

In Parañaque City, the affected areas are Sitio GSIS, Sitio Sampalukan, and Sitio Sto. Niño in Barangay San Martín de Porres.

Meralco advised residents to charge their gadgets, prepare emergency kits, and unplug appliances before the scheduled power interruption.
