Fan-favorites Creamline and Choco Mucho renew their rivalry when the two powerhouse squads collide in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Expect fireworks and drama as the Cool Smashers gun for their first victory in two games against the Flying Titans who are eyeing a bounce back win in their 6:30 p.m. encounter.
In the equally exciting first match, Cignal (2-0) tries to break the two-way tie with Nxled at the helm when it clashes with Farm Fresh (0-1) at 4:00 p.m.
Creamline struggled in its conference debut after a 22-25, 17-25, 23-25 loss to PLDT last Feb. 5.
Not even the return of Jia De Guzman and Jema Galanza from national team duties, and Tots Carlos and Bea de Leon being fully healthy, could save the Cool Smashers from the three-set defeat as Savi Davison and the High Speed Hitters obliterated the crowd darlings with the Filipino-Canadian scattering 26 points against the winningest franchise in the PVL.
Choco Mucho, meanwhile, sees an opportunity to rebound from a 20-25, 25-16, 19-25, 18-25 setback against Cignal with Sisi Rondina taking the offense on her shoulders and Eya Laure providing support.
On the other hand, Cignal, under head coach Shaq Delos Santos, is seeing the fruits of their labor after spending a training camp in Japan recently.
Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos are expected to lead the charge for the High Speed Hitters against the Foxies who rely on the duo of Trisha Tubu and Ces Molina.
