Caloocan City gov't turn over housing units to 4PH beneficiaries
The Caloocan City government has started the turnover of housing units to over 125 individuals on Sunday, Feb. 8.
According to the city government, around 10,820 residents are expected to benefit from the 4PH program.
Residents of the Barangay 168 Deparo were chosen as the initial group of recipients of the project.
Under the 4PH program, aspiring homeowners, particularly those who are in the vulnerable and marginalized sector are given opportunities to have a low-cost, decent, and permanent housing.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan expressed his appreciation to the agencies who worked together to make the program possible.
He also congratulated his constituents for their new homes.
"Maraming salamat po sa National Housing Authority (NHA), Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) at Pag-IBIG Fund sa inyong pakikipagtulungan sa lokal na pamahalaan upang matiyak na mabigyan ng tirahan ang mga kababayan nating lubos na nangangailangan (Thank you very much to the National Housing Authority (NHA), the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), and Pag-IBIG Fund for your partnership with the local government in ensuring that our fellow citizens who are most in need are provided with housing),” he said.
"Sa ating mga benepisyaryo, sana ay magkaroon kayo ng bagong pag-asa kasabay ng mga bagong tahanan na tutuluyan ninyo, at sana ay alagaan ninyo ito nang mapakinabangan pa ng mga susunod na henerasyon ng inyong pamilya (To our beneficiaries, may you find renewed hope along with the new homes you will live in, and may you take good care of them so they can continue to benefit the next generations of your family),” he added.
The Housing and Resettlement Office (HARO) will execute the rollout of new housing units.
Over 60 units are set to be allocated to more than 200 beneficiaries in the coming weeks.
