The actress-beauty queen delighted fans when she quietly revealed her engagement to entrepreneur Emil Eriksen, through a series of intimate Instagram Stories posted on February 6.

Rather than a grand, staged reveal, Verzosa chose a candid selfie—wrapped in her fiancé’s arms, her diamond ring catching the light and instantly catching everyone’s attention.

Her caption said it all: “It was the best hike ever.”

As it turns out, the life-changing question was popped during a spontaneous trek in the postcard-perfect Côte d’Azur in France. The scenic coastline, known for its sweeping sea views and romantic cliffs, set the stage for a proposal that ultimately felt both cinematic and deeply personal.

Verzosa later shared more glimpses from the trip, including photos of her being embraced by her boyfriend amid sweeping landscapes, a quiet breakfast moment, and a closer look at the ring that now symbolizes their next chapter.
