Stray bullet hits woman's foot inside house in Manila

A 25-year-old woman was injured after her foot was hit by a stray bullet while having dinner inside their house in Pandacan, Manila on Thursday, Feb. 5.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. inside the victim's house along Maligaya Street in Barangay 867. 
They said the victim was having dinner after washing clothes when she reportedly heard a gunshot. She then fell to the ground and noticed blood flowing from her left foot. 
She was immediately rushed to the hospital by her relatives for treatment.
As of now, the victim remains in the hospital and is set to undergo an operation. 
Meanwhile, authorities continue their follow-up operations to identify the person who fired the gun.
