Man arrested for sexually abusing 1-year-old godchild in Pasig
A 36-year-old man who had been hiding in Batangas was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing his one-year-old godchild in Pasig City in 2023.
The Eastern Police District (EPD) identified the suspect as “Jeff,” listed as the No. 7 Most Wanted Person at the station level in connection with a case of acts of lasciviousness.
He was arrested during a joint manhunt operation conducted by the Pasig City Police Station (CPS) and personnel of RIU-NCR-EDIT-EPD in Lobo, Batangas on Feb. 7, by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Family Court, Branch 12, Pasig City.
Based on the investigation, the incident occurred in August 2023, wherein the suspect allegedly sexually abused his one-year-old godchild, which was reportedly witnessed by the victim’s mother.
The mother immediately filed a complaint against the suspect.
The suspect is now detained at the Pasig CPS Custodial Facility.
EPD District Director Brig. Gen. Aden T. Lagradante commended the operatives and said that the operation reflects the unwavering commitment of the police force to protect every citizen and maintain peace and order in the community.

At the same time, we make sure that necessary assistance, protection, and support are provided to victims of all forms of violence,” Lagradante said.
