A total of 15 individuals were reported hurt after the public utility jeepney (PUJ) they were riding on turned over on its side near Ruiloba Street and Mabini Bridge in Sampaloc, Manila on Friday, Feb. 6.
According to the police, a drunk passenger seated beside the driver grabbed the steering wheel of the vehicle, causing it to tip over its side.
Rescue teams immediately attend to the injured passengers and brought them to the Philippine Orthopedic Center, Jose Reyes Memorial Hospital, and Ospital ng Sampaloc to receive further treatment.
The police are still investigating the incident.
