Korean actor Ha Jung-woo, 47, and actress Cha Jung-won, 36, are dating, their agencies confirmed.
But they denied that they were getting married in July. A Korean media outlet earlier reported that the wedding will be held in July in Seoul.
Ha Jung-woo's agency, Workhouse Company, told Korean media Osen, "It's true that they are dating, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Rumors of a summer or July wedding are also false."
"The actor has often jokingly responded to questions about marriage by saying, 'We should do it this year, we should do it in the summer,' but this seems to have been misinterpreted," it added.
Saram Entertainment, Cha Jung-won’s agency, confirmed, "It's true that actress Cha Jung-won is dating Ha Jung-woo, but the marriage rumors are groundless."
Cha Jung-won, born in 1989, debuted in the 2012 film “Horror Stories.” Her dramas include “Lawless Lawyer” and “My Absolute Boyfriend.”
Ha Jung-woo, born in 1978, is the son of Korean actor Kim Yong-gun. His acting credits include “Narco-Saints,” “Lovers in Prague,” “The People Upstairs” and “Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds.”
