Bambu Lab, a consumer tech brand established in Shenzhen, China, in 2020 and known for breaking barriers between digital creativity and physical products, has taken a significant step closer to everyday consumers in the Philippines—making 3D printing more accessible, practical, and relevant to daily life.
Traditionally seen as a tool for professionals and specialists, 3D printing is now being reintroduced by Bambu Lab as something that can fit naturally into homes, offices, and creative spaces. Through its local market presence, the brand aims to make 3D printers and printing supplies more accessible while reshaping how consumers perceive and use the technology.
3D Printing in every home and office
Bambu Lab’s lineup of desktop 3D printers offers a range of options designed to match varying consumer needs and levels of experience. From the entry-level Bambu Lab A1 mini, compact enough to fit on a small desk, to more advanced models capable of printing multiple colors and materials in a single run, the goal is to support practical home use, creative hobbies, product design, and even specialized tools.
With an emphasis on ease of use, 3D printing is positioned as a cost-efficient and practical solution—allowing users to create physical objects without requiring deep technical knowledge.

Access to a global 3D printing community
Complementing its hardware ecosystem is MakerWorld, Bambu Lab’s open platform composed
of millions of users and designers worldwide, with over 20,000 daily active users. Through MakerWorld, users can browse, select, and print from an extensive library of shared 3D designs directly from their own desktops.
The platform features a wide variety of printable objects across multiple categories, including household items, DIY tools, children’s toys, props, and educational materials—allowing users to fully maximize their 3D printers and turn ideas into tangible creations.
Closer to the Philippine market
As announced during the media roundtable, Bambu Lab has authorized its new reseller, to open the first shopping mall concept store in the Philippines at One Ayala, Makati City. The concept corner will give consumers the opportunity to see the range of Bambu Lab 3D printers and consumables firsthand and learn which options best fit their needs before purchasing.
This move marks an important milestone in Bambu Lab’s local expansion, reinforcing its commitment to bringing 3D printing closer to everyday consumers.
