PRO-3 nabs 10 most wanted fugitives in 72 hours
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-3 (PRO-3) arrested all individuals listed in its February Top 10 regional most wanted persons list in just three days, from Feb. 1 to 3, through coordinated operations across Central Luzon.
A statement issued Wednesday attributed the swift accomplishment to sustained intelligence work and close coordination among operating units, tracker teams, and cyber patrollers.
Real-time validation of information and synchronized field operations enabled police units to track the movements of the wanted persons across different platforms and execute precise arrest operations, according to PRO-3.
PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said the operations resulted from systematic intelligence efforts and disciplined coordination.
“This achievement reflects the effectiveness of intelligence-driven policing and the professionalism of our personnel. This is not by chance—it is the result of thorough intelligence work, proper coordination, and responsible use of technology,” Peñones said.
He highlighted the growing role of cyber patrollers in modern policing, noting that digital platforms are increasingly used by fugitives to evade law enforcement.
