A 36-year-old pedicab driver was arrested by the police for breaking into a house and stealing an IPhone and other items on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
Based on the police report, the suspect, identified as "Ron," broke into a house on Madrid Street in Barangay 45, Tondo, Manila, where he stole an IPhone 6S valued at P8,000 as well as a pair of Air Pods Pro 2 worth P4,000 before escaping toward the direction of Asuncion Street.
The Manila Police District (MPD) said the house's occupants found out about the theft when they noticed that their door was pried open, prompting them to report the incident to the police.
A follow-up operation was quickly launched against Ron which led to his arrest.
The suspect will be charged with robbery before the Manila Prosecutor's Office.
