Bayawan City mourns death of 8 employees, trainee in crash

The city government of Bayawan in Negros Oriental mourned the death of eight employees from the City Agriculture Office-Engineering Division and a college student in a road accident on Wednesday.
“Our hallways are quiet, and our hearts are broken for our colleagues from the City Agriculture Office-Engineering Division (CAO-ED) and an OJT student who was alongside them," the city government said in a statement.
"We pray for their families, our local government, and the entire community as we navigate this season of grief," the city government added.
"Help us to honor the memory of the departed by continuing their mission of service with even greater compassion and resolve."
Negros Oriental Gov. Manuel "Chaco" Sagarbarria also condoled with the families of the victims.
