Vintage bomb found at construction site in Manila

A 75mm high-explosive vintage bomb was unearthed by construction workers at a construction site along Lacson corner G. Tuazon Street in Barangay 419, Sampaloc, Manila, last Sunday, Feb. 1.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), a construction worker found the vintage bomb as he was excavating at the site using a pickaxe.
He subsequently reported the discovery to his construction manager who immediately sought police assistance.
MPD Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officers were dispatched to the area to retrieve the bomb.
