'Salvage' victim found in Batangas

TUY, Batangas – The body of a suspected “salvage” or summary execution victim was found in Barangay Sabang, this town, on Monday.
The victim's face was covered by a sack when he was discovered by a resident at about 4:20 a.m.
He had an injury in the right eyebrow.
The victim was about 5’0’’ in height, wearing a yellow T-shirt, and black and yellow jersey shorts.
Follow-up investigation and an autopsy are being conducted.
Meanwhile, a man was stabbed to death Saturday night in a carwash in Barangay Sala, Cabuyao City, Laguna.
Police identified the victim as Law.
Investigation said Law was stabbed by the suspect Gab as he arrived in the area. Law was taken to a hospital where he died.
Police arrested the suspect in a hot pursuit operation and recovered the murder weapon. The suspect faces a murder case.
