Retired Marine nabbed for grave threats, alarm, scandal in Pasay
Police arrested a retired member of the Philippine Marines after a Joyride driver filed a complaint accusing him of threatening him with a firearm in Pasay City on Feb. 2.
Pasay City Police Chief Col. Joselito De Sesto identified the suspect as alias “JR,” 58, who was arrested along Merville Access Road in Barangay 201, Pasay City.

According to De Sesto, the victim, identified as Bert, 46, a Joyride driver, was waiting for his wife when the suspect allegedly approached him while under the influence of liquor and asked, “Ikaw ba ang naghahanap sa akin?” (“Are you the one looking for me?”).
The victim claimed that the suspect suddenly pulled out a firearm concealed inside his sling bag, causing panic among him and nearby bystanders.
De Sesto said that during the arrest, the suspect surrendered his .45-caliber pistol and presented documents, including his firearms registration, license to own and possess a firearm, and permit to carry firearms outside of residence.
The suspect was detained at the Pasay City Police custodial facility and was charged with grave threats, alarm, and scandal.
