A 32-year-old man wanted for murder in Manila was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police during a manhunt operation in Cavite on Feb. 1.
Pasay City Police chief Col. Joselito De Sesto said the suspect, identified the suspect as Mike, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. in Pasinaya, North East, Timalan, Balsahan, Naic, Cavite.
De Sesto said the arrest was carried out by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section, along with 10 other police operatives, by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Czarina Encarnacion Samonte-Villanueva of the Manila Regional Trial Court, Branch 184. No bail was recommended.
The suspect was brought to the Warrant and Subpoena Section for proper documentation, while the return of the warrant was forwarded to the court of origin. He is temporarily detained at the Pasay City Police custodial facility.
