The city government of Parañaque, in celebration of its 28th Cityhood Anniversary on Feb. 13, is offering free legal assistance through the HELP Citizen Card Program to make legal matters easier, clearer, and more accessible to every resident.
Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the free legal assistance activity will be held on Feb. 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the ground floor of Building B, SM City Sucat.

Olivarez advised Parañaqueños who wish to avail themselves of the free legal assistance that the cut-off time for consultation will be at 5:00 p.m.
Through the initiative, residents can consult licensed lawyers and avail themselves of various legal services, including the drafting of simple affidavits; correction of clerical errors in Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) certificates, such as misspelled names; notarization of Local Civil Registrar petitions; and other simple legal documents and affidavits.
The mayor encouraged Parañaqueños to take advantage of the free service, noting that access to legal assistance is an important step toward empowering communities and ensuring justice for all.
To secure a slot, interested participants are advised to set an appointment in advance by visiting https://appointment.paranaque.gov.ph/ or by scanning the QR code.
The activity forms part of the city’s continuing efforts to bring essential services closer to the people as Parañaque marks another milestone in its cityhood.
