Muntinlupa LGU opens 550 slots for student employment program
The Muntinlupa City government announced that it will hire 550 students for short-term employment.
The students will be hired under the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
“Applications are on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-in applicants will not be accepted,” the city government said.
The first 550 applicants that can submit complete documents will be accepted in the program.
Online registration via Google Forms at https://bit.ly/SPES-REGISTRATION-2026 will be open on Feb. 16 and 18 to 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Batch 1 implementation of SPES will be from April 14 to May 12, and Batch 2 from May 13 to June 10.
Eligible applicants are students from school year 2025 to 2026, residents of Muntinlupa, 15 to 25 years old, and whose family income must not exceed P226,265 based on an advisory by the Department of Labor and Employment.
Applicants need to scan and attach to the online form the following required documents:
A. Birth certificate or baptismal certificate
B. School requirements
B.1. If you are a Junior or Senior High School Student:
• Latest Grades of High School Card (S.Y. 2025-2026)
B.2 If you are a College Student:
• Certificate of Matriculation (COM)/School Registration (1st semester & 2nd semester S.Y. 2025-2026)
• Certificate of Grades (COG)/Grade Point Average (GPA) (1st semester & 2nd semester S.Y. 2025-2026)
C. Family Income
• If Parents/Guardian are employed:
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents for the year 2025
• If Parents/Guardian are unemployed:
- Original Certificate of Indigency (issued by your barangay) for the year 2026 (Please indicate the SPES purpose in the Certificate of Indigency). The SPES beneficiary’s name must be indicated on the Certificate of Indigency.
D. Proof of Residency (any of the following):
• Muntizen Card/Muntinlupa Care Card
• Voter’s ID
• School ID
“Only applications with complete documents will be accepted and forwarded to the DOLE Muntaparlas Field Office for final assessment,” the city government added.
