Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno" Domagoso announced that personnel of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) will receive a total of P3,000,000.00 in allowances covering the period from April to June 2025, as part of the continued support of the Manila local government.

The release of the funds is scheduled from Feb. 2 to 6, 2026. 

This initiative serves as recognition of the BJMP personnel’s dedication and commitment to maintaining order and security inside the city’s detention facilities.

The city government reaffirmed its commitment to supporting law enforcement and correctional institutions in ensuring public safety and effective jail management.
