Central Luzon cops net P24.2-M illegal drugs in January

The Police Regional Office-3 seized illegal drugs valued at P24.2 million in Central Luzon in January.
PRO-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said 943 drug suspects, including 22 high-value individuals, were apprehended in 659 anti-drug operations.
Eight hundred fourteen wanted individuals were arrested.
Peñones credited these accomplishments to discipline, focused operations, and the dedication of police personnel.
“Every arrest made and every illegal drug seized is a step toward safer communities in Central Luzon. These results reflect the commitment of our officers and the strong intelligence support behind our operations,” he said.
Peñones assured the people that operations against wanted persons, illegal drugs, and other forms of criminality will continue in the coming months.
