The Quezon City government has launched an investigation into a reported incident of unauthorized collection of money at the Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC) Elevated Promenade.
Mariing ipinapabatid ng lokal na pamahalaan sa publiko na WALANG SINISINGIL NA ANUMANG BAYAD sa pagdaan o paggamit ng Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC) Elevated Promenade (The local government strongly informs the public that NO FEE WILL BE CHARGE for passing through or using the Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC) Elevated Promenade),” the city government said in a statement on Sunday, Feb. 1.

It also explained that the security personnel assigned to QMC are outsourced staff provided by a third-party security agency and are not directly employed by the local government.

The local government also encouraged residents and visitors to promptly report any unauthorized collections or irregularities encountered in city-managed facilities, stressing that public vigilance plays a key role in protecting shared spaces.
