A Korean national listed as a Top 6 Most Wanted Person (District Level) was arrested by operatives of the Manila Police District (MPD) at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 on Jan. 12, preventing him from leaving the country.
According to Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, the suspect, identified as Kim Baek, is facing a rape charge involving a Filipina victim and was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marlo Magdoza Malagar of the Manila Regional Trial Court, Branch 19.
The arrest was carried out as the suspect was attempting to depart the country.
