PICCC brings the Philippine collectibles community together at SMX Aura this January
The fast-growing collectibles scene in the country takes center stage as Philippine International Cards and Collectibles Convention (PICCC) opens its doors on January 30 and 31, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, at the SMX Convention Center, SM Aura, Bonifacio Global City.
PICCC is a two-day celebration of collecting culture, bringing together card collectors, toy enthusiasts, memorabilia hunters, and pop culture fans under one roof. The event will feature exhibits of rare and iconic cards, a bustling trade fair, online selling integration, tournaments, box breaks, workshops, and community-driven programs designed to connect hobbyists of all levels — from casual fans to serious collectors.
While trading cards such as NBA, Pokémon, One Piece, and other popular franchises remain at the heart of the convention, PICCC also welcomes collectors of graphic novels, toys, memorabilia, and other prized collectibles, making it a truly inclusive gathering for the wider hobby community.
One of the highlights of the event is a two-day Drawing Workshop with Jake Bilbao, the acclaimed Filipino comic book artist known for his work on Wolverine. The workshop offers fans and aspiring artists a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of theindustry’s respected creators.
Adding excitement to the weekend, all ticket holders will have a chance to win a Derrick Rose signed jersey, while card game enthusiasts can look forward to tournaments happening throughout the event. Fans can also witness live box breaks featuring Gabe Norwood and Nico Rocha, blending sports, collecting, and entertainment in a uniquely engaging experience.
Beyond buying and selling, PICCC places strong emphasis on community building and education. Interviews, panel-style conversations, and collector stories will explore the evolving collectibles market, the balance between hobby and investment, and the importance of community in sustaining the culture.
Adding purpose to passion, the event’s proceeds will benefit Project Happy Memories, reinforcing its commitment to giving back and using the hobby as a platform for positive social impact.
The event is organized by Revel Maker Events Management, in partnership with Paldope TCG, Xure, Let It Fly, PoiKollect Traders Superstore, G5 Cards, Vault 250, and Stray Collective. Manila Bulletin serves as the official media partner.
PICCC will also be graced by DJ Suzy and DJ Gino, keeping the energy high throughout the two-day convention.
Tickets are available at PHP 200 for Regular Admission and PHP 500 for the VIP Experience. The event is open to the public, with limited vendor and exhibitor slots still available ahead of the January 18 registration cut-off.
