A high-value individual (HVI) in the illegal drugs trade was arrested and yielded P340,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Parañaque City Police on Jan. 30.
The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as Norbert, 38, who was arrested at around 4:40 a.m. in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City.

According to the SPD, the suspect was caught selling shabu to an undercover police operative during the buy-bust operation carried out by operatives of the Parañaque City Police.
Recovered from Norbert were approximately 50 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of P340,000, a black coin purse, a black OPPO cellular phone, and P500 marked as buy-bust money.
The suspect is currently detained at the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) custodial facility and will face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
