THE PRO-6 conducted a reshuffle among police officers in Western Visayas.
ILOILO CITY – Forty-six police chiefs were reshuffled in Western Visayas region.
The Police Regional Office-6 issued the reassignment in Resolution 2026-01 as part of the regular administrative process of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
“This aims to ensure fairness, sustain professionalism, and provide equal opportunities for leadership development, while maintaining effective and responsive police service in our communities,” said PRO-6 chief Police Brig. Gen. Josefino Ligan in a statement on Friday.
Ligan said it is merely a reassignment and not a punishment.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office had 13, Antique PPO, 11; Capiz PPO, 10; Aklan PPO, six; Iloilo City Police Office, five, and one from Guimaras PPO.
