Thai singer Boy Sompob was admitted to a hospital due to a serious medical condition that stemmed from a hernia at the incision site related to his colon cancer three years ago.
Sompob is known for singing the original soundtracks (OSTs) to numerous Thai boys’ love (BL) series.
“We would like to inform you that Boy Sompob is currently experiencing a serious medical condition caused by severe abdominal pain, resulting from a hernia at the site of a previous surgical incision related to cancer treatment approximately three years ago,” according to a statement posted on his social media accounts.
