QCPD named Best Police District in National Capital region
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) was adjudged as the Best District Police Office in the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) during the Philippine National Police (PNP) Day Celebration for Calendar Year 2026, held on Wednesday Jan. 28.
The award was received by Police Colonel Randy Glenn Silvio, Acting District Director of QCPD,
The recognition cited QCPD’s overall operational performance and effective implementation of crime prevention and law enforcement programs throughout 2025.
According to QCPD, the distinction reflects the district’s consistent implementation of key initiatives, including the Strengthened Information and Targeting (SIT), the Integrated System of Analysis and Validation (ISAV), intensified Warrant Day operations, and District Oplan Bulabog/Galugad.
These efforts resulted in notable accomplishments, including the highest number of arrests of wanted persons among police districts in the NCR in 2025.
The programs were implemented in line with the PNP Focused Agenda and aligned with the NCRPO’s Triple A Program—Able, Active, and Allied—emphasizing operational readiness, proactive policing, and strong collaboration with stakeholders.
“This recognition is a testament to your dedication, professionalism, and hard work,” PCOL. Silvio said.
QCPD officials said the honor further strengthens the district’s commitment to sustaining effective policing strategies and reinforcing public safety efforts across Quezon City.
