FO3 Rowena Manlabao, Emergency Medical Service (EMS) team leader of the BFP, said the incident happened after the victim finished kneading the dough and began cleaning the machine which was still turned on.
Manlabao said the victim’s arm was deformed and he suffered a minor fracture on his right wrist. He was immediately brought to the nearest hospital.
The BFP used a hydraulic cutter to free the victim’s arm from the machine.
The BFP added that the bakeshop owner said the victim was newly hired and assured that assistance would be provided for his medical treatment.
