A 31-year-old man was injured following his violent rampage at a barangay hall in Barangay 270, Binondo, Manila, last Jan. 26, the Manila Police District (MPD) said.
Based on the police investigation, a roving patrol unit of the Binondo Police Station 11 was approached by a barangay staff asking for police assistance after the suspect, identified as "Emeterio," was trying to force himself inside the barangay hall.
Upon arriving at the barangay hall, the police spotted Emeterio inside the building severely wounded and bleeding profusely after bashing his head on the glass door of the barangay hall, shattering it to pieces.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Further investigation revealed the suspect is a member of the notorious Commando Criminal Gang.
Several charges will be filed against Emeterio, including alarms and scandal, resisting and disobedience, and malicious mischief.
