LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Police Regional Office-1 recovered 2,766 loose firearms in the Ilocos region in 2025.
PRO-1 carried out 386 operations leading to the arrest of 407 individuals for firearms law violations from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31
The province of Pangasinan had the highest number of confiscated firearms.
Police Brig. Gen. Dindo R. Reyes, PRO-1 chief, credited their achievement to the dedication of police personnel, strong coordination with local government units and partner agencies, and continued public support.
