Man's body found in sacks on Silang roadside

CAVITE – A man was found dead inside sacks on a roadside in Barangay Kaong, Silang, on Monday, Jan. 26.

A report from the Police Regional Office 4A said a concerned motorist discovered the body and called the Silang Municipal Police Station (Silang MPS).

The unidentified victim was topless, was wearing maroon shorts, and was approximately 40 to 55 years old.

Investigators said the body was stuffed inside two sacks of farm animal feed and was left on the roadside.

Silang MPS has requested assistance from the Provincial Forensic Unit to process the crime scene, while the victim will be subject to an autopsy examination.

The police are now conducting follow-up operations to identify the victim and shed light on the circumstances surrounding his death.
