Fourteen Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPBs) have issued Wage Orders granting P20 to P100 daily increases for private-sector minimum wage earners.
Meanwhile, 11 Wage Orders provide P300 to P2,000 monthly increases for kasambahays or domestic workers.
Davao and Bicol regions are scheduled to begin their wage determination this January and February under a policy of regular, moderate, and evidence-based adjustments that benefit both workers and employers.
Beyond wage hikes, the department promotes higher income through programs such as free training and technical assistance under the Productivity Toolbox, which helps enterprises improve efficiency and competitiveness.
It also provides financial support through the Adjustment Measures Program, assisting businesses with process improvement, digitalization, and skills enhancement.
Certification and skills development programs offered by TESDA further equip workers to increase employability and earnings.
The Bureau of Labor Relations, National Conciliation and Mediation Board, and National Labor Relations Commission continue to strengthen labor-management relations, facilitate collective bargaining, and support employee retention.
These programs are available through DOLE’s regional offices and attached agencies.
Information can also be accessed on the official DOLE website (www.dole.gov.ph) and verified Facebook page, as the department reaffirmed its commitment to monitor socio-economic conditions, promote fair employment, and support sustainable economic growth.
