Continental Tires Philippines launches new SUV tire line: UltraContact UX7

Acknowledging the mainstream appeal of SUVs these days, Continental Tires Philippines just launched their new SUV-specific tire that delivers on what drivers expect from a daily tire and goes a little further. This tire is the Continental UltraContact UX7.

The Continental UltraContact UX7 is a line of SUV-specific tires that balance everyday driving demands with additional performance features. UltraContact UX7 tires employ the following innovative technologies: X-Force Macroblocks tread patterns, Robust360 construction, and built with an adaptive diamond compound.
The X-Force Macroblocks tread patterns maximize the contact area with the road surface, creating a wider contact patch with the ground that effectively distributes the force to the rest of the tire to improve handling and stability. When turning, the outer shoulder of the tire is designed to bear the greatest stress and pressure.
Its Robust360 construction reinforces the tire structure to make it more durable. This is done using a reinforced tread steel wire layer and a stronger tire design to ensure superior performance and durability in a variety of road conditions.

The adaptive diamond compound is composed of materials chosen by Continental Tires to have improved tread wear resistance by effective heat transferring, which also improves braking distance. This allows the tire to absorb heat better and continue to perform, making them just as effective even long into an hours-long drive.
All these combine to allow the UltraContact UX7 to deliver a quiet and smooth ride while still being able to perform in the toughest maneuvers. Not satisfied with just a presentation, Continental Tire Philippines put them to a test in front of all the guests present with a handling course prepared nearby. These included sudden maneuvers, slaloms, and even the demanding figure - eight test.
The UX7 is designed to fit and perform in a variety of vehicles, from common SUVs and even MPVs like the Toyota Innova Zenix, to compact hybrids like the Toyota Yaris Cross HEV and Honda HR-V e:HEV, to larger SUVs like the BMW X5.
The Continental UX7 is now available at JMFEI authorized dealers and via Lazada.
