Construction worker nabbed for drug case in Muntinlupa

Police arrested a construction worker listed as the No. 7 most wanted person (station level) in Muntinlupa City on Jan. 26. 

About 13 operatives of the Muntinlupa Police Warrant and Subpoena Unit implemented a bench warrant of arrest against the suspect identified as Al, 35, at a gas station in Barangay Putatan. 

The warrant of arrest was issued by Presiding Judge Romeo Santos of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 256 under a case for violation of Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). No bail was recommended. 

The accused was brought to Laguerta Health Center in Barangay Tunasan for medical and physical examinations and was turned over to the Muntinlupa police’s custodial facility.
