Police have arrested two men wanted for 26 counts of rape each in Angeles City.
The first suspect, a 36-year-old married man, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 27, in Barangay Cuayan.
He faces rape cases dating back to April 2008. The suspect was taken into custody under a warrant with no bail recommended.
The second fugitive was apprehended on Jan. 23.
PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. lauded operating units for their achievements.
“These arrests send a clear message: PRO-3 will stop at nothing to bring fugitives to justice and protect our communities,” Peñones said.
