Ross the least surprised as emotions run high: 'It's the Finals'

Chris Ross had an exchange of words with some fans behind the Tropang 5G bench and got TNT manager Jojo Lastimosa also involved. Even the usually calm June Mar Fajardo went at it and gave Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser a nudge and a stare down after making a basket.
Game 3 of the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup was nothing short of emotional for both San Miguel and TNT, but it was all part of the series as far as the players were concerned.
“It's the finals,” said Ross, commenting on the emotions on Sunday's game at the Mall of Asia Arena where the Beermen won 95-89 to take a 2-1 series lead.
“That's what I tell the guys before every game. We're playing for a championship. If we're not getting after it, if we're not getting in the other team's face, they're not getting in our face, what are we doing?,” he added.
As the game went back-and-forth, players were also trading banters, trashtalks and even bumps throughout the contest.
But that was to be expected according to Ross. But more than the extra curricular activities, the veteran guard stressed that the series also offered a display of high-level basketball.
