INSTANT MILLIONAIRES: Zamboanga City, Tarlac City bettors win over P280-M Ultra Lotto jackpot — PCSO

Two lucky bettors hailing from Zamboanga City and Tarlac City will split the over P280-million Ultra Lotto jackpot drawn on Sunday, Jan. 25, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.
The PCSO said the Ultra Lotto jackpot totaled P284,636,402.80.
According to the agency, the bettors correctly guessed the six-digit winning combination: 39 – 37 – 04 – 11 – 02 – 09.
With the jackpot split between two winners, the agency said each bettor will receive P142,318,201.40.
PCSO said the winning tickets were purchased at outlets in Barangay Baliwasan, Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur, and along Romulo Highway in Poblacion Norte, Tarlac City.
Meanwhile, the PCSO said 19 bettors each pocketed P120,000 after matching five of the six-digit winning combination of the Ultra Lotto.
The agency noted that under the TRAIN Law, a 20 percent tax is automatically deducted from jackpot winnings.
Winners are advised to claim their prizes at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City upon presentation of two valid IDs.
