Fans urge K-pop group AHOF's agency, organizer to address issues about Cebu fan meeting
Fanbases of K-pop boy band AHOF, which includes Filipino idol JL Gaspar, have called out their agency and organizer in the Philippines regarding issues related to their upcoming Cebu fan meeting.
AHOF will hold their “2026 Fan Meeting: AHOF for Love in Cebu” on Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Cebu Coliseum in Cebu City.
The fanbases issued a statement addressed to AHOF's Korean agency F&F Entertainment, and Cebu fan meeting organizer and promoter Show Biz Town.
In the statement, the AHOF fanbases raised concerns about the venue, ticket prices not proportionate to fan benefits, and lack of response.
They urged F&F Entertainment and Show Biz Town to “reassess fan benefits to ensure they fairly reflect the price of tickets already sold, including benefit enhancements for higher-tier tickets (e.g., guaranteed fanperks instead of raffle, and hi-touch as an additional benefit).
The fans also urged them to “review venue suitability for an event of this scale and address safety concerns raised by fans. If safety and venue standards cannot be adequately met, we strongly urge changing the venue, accompanied by clear communication on any adjustments; and issue a clear and timely official statement addressing fan concerns amid ongoing ticket sales.”
AHOF debuted in South Korea in July last year with members JL, Steven, Jeongwoo, Woongki, Shuaibo, Han, Juwon, Chih En, and Daisuke.

UNIFIED STATEMENT OF AHOF FANBASES ON AHOF FOR LOVE IN CEBU FANMEETING
“To the Management of AHOF and Event Organizers,
“cc F&F Entertainment (@fnfent_officia/) and SBTown, Inc. (@officia/sbtown)
“We, the AHOF fanbases representing FOHAs worldwide, would like to formally express our disappointment regarding the planning and current handling of the upcoming "AHOF for Love in Cebu Fanmeeting."
“This statement is made out of genuine concern for both AHOF and the fans who have consistently supported them.
“Several issues have been raised following the announcement of the venue and ticket details.
First, the venue raised serious concerns regarding suitability and safety.
“Local fans had repeatedly pointed out that it does not meet the standards expected for a fanmeeting of this scale, nor does it reflect AHOF's positioning as a rising global artist. Unfortunately, these warnings and repeated concerns have not been addressed, leaving fans feeling disregarded.
“Second, the ticket pricing is not proportionate to the fan benefits offered.
“For PVIP, SVIP, and VIP tickets, expected fan interactions, such as hi-touch, are not included. Furthermore, exclusive benefits for these tiers are limited to only five (5) FOHAs per show through raffles, which raises serious concerns about fairness, accessibility, and overall value for the fans who have invested significantly.
“Third, there has been a lack of response to fan feedback.
“Despite repeated concerns raised across multiple platforms, there has been no clear communication or effort to address these issues. This absence of engagement has further deepened fans' frustration and sense of being unheard.
“These concerns have extended beyond the Filipino fanbase.
“The Korean and global fanbases have also expressed worry, particularly regarding the potential impact on AHOF's image and reputation. As a group being promoted globally, AHOF deserves events that reflect professionalism, care, and respect across all regions.
“AHOF Fanbases representing the FOHAs around the world would like to request the following:
“1. Reassess fan benefits to ensure they fairly reflect the price of tickets already sold, including benefit enhancements for higher-tier tickets (e.g., guaranteed fanperks instead of raffle, and hi-touch as an additional benefit);
“2. Review venue suitability for an event of this scale and address safety concerns raised by fans. If safety and venue standards cannot be adequately met, we strongly urge changing the venue, accompanied by clear communication on any adjustments; and
“3. Issue a clear and timely official statement addressing fan concerns amid ongoing ticket sales.
“A fanmeeting should be a meaningful moment of connection, not a source of disappointment. Fans deserve a quality fan experience, and AHOF deserves events that protect their image, well-being, and long-term growth. How this situation is handled will influence the fans' trust and confidence in future AHOF activities and events.
“We respectfully urge SBTown and F&F Entertainment to acknowledge these concerns, communicate transparently with fans, and commit to higher standards in planning, responsiveness, and execution—both for this event and future activities. Constructive feedback should be treated as an opportunity for improvement, not ignored. We sincerely hope this statement leads to positive change moving forward.
“This statement reflects consolidated feedback from multiple and well-known AHOF fanbases across different platforms and regions, gathered through careful discussions and coordinated reporting.
“Sincerely with utmost respect,
