Conductor, 7 others yield P1.3-M shabu in Rizal buy-bust
Authorities arrested a 27-year-old conductor and seven other individuals and seized about P1,391,280 worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Rizal province on Saturday, Jan. 24.
The first operation was conducted by the San Mateo Municipal Police Station (San Mateo MPS) in Barangay Silangan, San Mateo at around 12:29 a.m.
The arrested suspects were identified as “Bebe,” 27; “Gama,” 34; “Ninay,” 25; “Bebang,” 18; and “Jomar,” 29.
Police confiscated four heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu, weighing approximately 58.1 grams and valued at P395,080.
The suspects were brought to the San Mateo MPS and will face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Meanwhile, operatives of the Tanay Municipal Police Station (Tanay MPS) arrested three suspects identified as “Tatay,” “Tisoy,” and “Boying” during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Plaza Aldea, Tanay.
Confiscated from the suspects were seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 146.5 grams and valued at P996,200.
The suspects are now detained at the Tanay MPS custodial facility and will face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165.
