Las Piñas opens newly repaired, rehabilitated health center

The Las Piñas City government has formally opened a newly repaired and rehabilitated health center as part of its continuing efforts to improve public health facilities across the city.
Mayor April Aguilar, together with Vice Mayor Imelda Aguilar, led the inauguration of the Elias Aldana Health Center, reinforcing the city’s commitment to providing accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services to Las Piñeros.
The rehabilitated health center has a total floor area of 204.96 square meters and was upgraded to ensure a more functional, safe, and comfortable environment for both patients and healthcare workers.
Aguilar said the ground floor now includes a reception area, a PWD-friendly toilet, a consultation room, a family room, a prenatal area, a minor surgical room, a staff toilet, a and nurse’s room.
Meanwhile, the second floor houses a dental room, a laboratory, a medicine room, a TB-DOTS facility, a patients’ toilet, and a storage room.
With the completion of the rehabilitation, Aguilar said the health center has expanded its capacity to deliver essential medical services such as maternal care, laboratory services, dental care, and tuberculosis treatment, directly benefiting residents of Barangay Elias Aldana.
The mayor said that the city government remains committed to strengthening its health infrastructure to ensure that every Las Piñero has access to proper, affordable, and quality health services.
